PLAY means immersion in nature. But also immersion in culture. Experiences, created to make our Arosa even more experiential. The activities are free of charge as part of our weekly programm, but can also be booked on an individual basis for an extra charge.
Nature gives us berries; in winter, mushrooms. To experience these gifts first hand, join us for a tour of the forest as we explore its wonders and gather its fruits. Back at the hotel, our professional chefs will be waiting to work their magic on your pickings.
Kneipping and water treading can help to strengthen and stabilise the body’s functions and thus promote the healthy functioning of the immune system. At the Welschtobelbach river, we go in search of a suitable spot for kneipping or – for the brave amongst us – a session of ‘Bachsitzen’.
Summon your finesse and join us for this creative activity on the Weisshorn, where skill and dexterity will be required to build the highest cairn. You’ll have to chance to survey the fruits of your labour and enjoy spectacular mountain views over a tasty picnic.
As its name suggests, “snurfing” mixes surfing and snow – and it’s a sport we’re thrilled to rediscover. Hotel director Claudio Laager will accompany you for your first attempts on the board. Later we’ll try out our skills below the Arosa Bergkirchli.
Find inner peace and perceive the here and now with every step. A silent walk is a chance to reflect on what really matters: ourselves. Our destination is the Bergkirchli, where we’ll enjoy a spectacular sunrise over an impressive mountain backdrop.
Accompanied by the light of torches we set off through the idyllic forests of Arosa. Our destination? The spectacular Restaurant Alpenblick. Once there, we’ll sample an extraordinary selection of wines and cheese curated by local culinary expert Beat Caduff.
