Curated Adventures are about discovering the regions around our hotels and the locals artisans, producers and characters that make our locations so special. This is an opportunity for you to leave everyday life behind and delve into the local traditions and cultures.

Cool by nature
A hotel heated by ice water? Sounds wild, but that’s exactly what we do – and we think it’s pretty ingenious. Our Eco Tour gives a glimpse behind the scenes of the Valsana, letting you discover how cutting-edge infrastructure and smart tech come together to create one of the most sustainable energy concepts in the Alps. Cool answers to big questions: thor- oughly inspiring stuff.
Ice bathing
Ice bathing offers an invigorating adrenaline boost accompanied by a wide range of health-promoting effects. Our experts are on hand to guide you through this very special experience. Feel the tingling cold awaken your senses and reap the benefits of a lasting boost to your immune system.
Torchlight walk
Let it shine! On this Empowering Expedition, we’ll hike with torches from Hof Maran back to the Valsana via the picturesque Eichhörnliweg trail. The reward? A steaming hot tea or mulled wine, sipped by the fireplace or – weather permitting – under the open sky.
Sledging - Arosa after dark
When everyone else is winding down, we’re just getting started. Hop on the Valsana bus to Prätschli, grab a sledge and race your way back down towards the valley. Easy-going, sociable and with plenty of fresh mountain air – that’s an Arosa winter evening, Valsana style.
Cheese & Cheers
When bold wines meet cheeses with character, things get interesting. Sometimes soft, sometimes wild, always with style. Taste your way through unexpected pairings, accompanied by stories from the dairy and the cellar, and raise a glass with us to an evening of alpine flavours and new favourite matches.
