Tennis above the clouds

From 19 June, the tennis programme at Valsana kicks off with an upgrade for anyone looking to take their game to the next level or get started. Training takes place at an altitude of just under 1,830 metres – indoors in the hotel’s own tennis hall right next to the hotel, or outdoors on selected tennis courts in Arosa.

More pace on the court. More precision in training. More ‘wow’ moments whilst gazing out over the valley during breaks.

This makes the Valsana the highest-altitude tennis training facility in Europe. Or, in short: tennis above the clouds.

Training with Petr Osusky

From this summer season, Petr Osusky will be working as Director of Tennis at the Valsana. He brings with him international coaching experience from Dubai, Hong Kong and the USA, a deep understanding of the game and a clear goal: to refine technique, improve timing, build confidence – or simply to have fun for all ages.

Whether it’s your first tennis lessons, a targeted technical update or an intensive training session: with over 20 years’ experience in coaching and managing tennis, Petr Osusky designs the perfect training programme for every level. The Valsana tennis programme is aimed at hotel guests, external guests and anyone who would like to rediscover tennis in Arosa.

• Private 4-hour Package – CHF 365

• Semi-private Lesson – CHF 110 / h (2 people)

• Semi-private 4-hour package – CHF 420 (2 people)

• Group clinics – CHF 35 per person per hour (3–6 people)

Courts: Tennis courts in Arosa

Tennis lessons take place indoors in the Valsana tennis hall or outdoors on other tennis courts in Arosa, depending on the weather, availability and training format.

Good to know: The tennis hall is located right next to the Valsana Hotel Arosa. For outdoor sessions, courts in Arosa are available subject to availability, including the facilities at the Tennis Club Arosa and Tennis Hof Maran.
