When the Tschuggen Grand Hotel is dressed for the festive season, a series of special moments begins to unfold. From culinary highlights and atmospheric live music to thoughtfully curated experiences, each day brings its own sense of occasion. From Christmas Eve and Christmas Day through to New Year’s Eve, discover a varied festive programme that brings together tradition, indulgence and celebration in true Tschuggen style.
24 December 2026 – Christmas Eve
Head to the „Grand Restaurant“ for a festive five-course menu accompanied by the atmospheric sounds of GrooveCafe ft. Karin Bauer. Guests who prefer to dine à la carte can join us at „The Basement“ or „La Brezza“.
25 December 2026 – Christmas
Christmas Day begins just as it should: with an apéro in the „Tschuggen Bar“ accompanied by our house musician, delicate canapés and a winter cocktail. Revel in the festive ambience in the company of the hotel’s management. Afterwards, the „Grand Restaurant“ hosts the Christmas Gala: five exquisite courses with live music from Bossa Club ft. Katleen Dugas. Expect a celebration that’s elegant, distinguished and full of festive spirit.
26 December 2026 – Christmas Day
On 26 December, we gather outdoors on the hotel’s front plaza. Punch, mulled wine, raclette, sweet treats and Christmas music bring the spirit of Christmas alive with the charm of a traditional winter market. As young and old gather to toast „Stockbrot“ (bread on a stick) by the fire, it’s a reminder that true Christmas magic is often found in the simplest details.
31 December 2026 – New Year’s Eve
Some years simply slip away quietly. Others go out with a flourish – complete with Rock’n’Roll and an impeccable menu. This year at the Tschuggen Grand Hotel, we’re most decidedly planning for the latter: a New Year’s Eve as festive as they come and a turn of the year that deserves a place among your most memorable evenings. The theme: „Lollipop – 60s Rock’n’Roll“; the highlight: an evening filled with music, dancing and lively atmosphere. Expect Rock’n’Roll, joie de vivre and a moment unlike any other.
Our dining plans are equally refined, with a six-course menu in the „Grand Restaurant“ accompanied by live music from the band Moreland. Welcome to an evening where gourmet delight meets flawless rhythm!
The evening begins from 7.00 pm with an apéro in the „Tschuggen Bar“ accompanied by live music. At midnight, we welcome the New Year with a DJ, midnight show and dancing, followed by a midnight buffet at „La Collina“.
1 January 2027 – New Year
At the Tschuggen Grand Hotel, New Year’s Day begins not with resolutions but with a leisurely breakfast set to piano music and snowy mountain views. A New Year unlike any other – and perhaps just one resolution worth keeping: to return soon.
