A sanctuary in the mountains

Discover

St. Moritz might just be the world’s most stylish winter destination – but it’s also much more than that. It is the host of two Winter Olympics, a place that captured the imaginations of Giovanni Segantini, Friedrich Nietzsche and Hermann Hesse, and a meeting place for the international art and culture scene. Let us help you discover St. Moritz in all its facets.

Ski

It was as the result of a bet that the foundation stone was laid for winter tourism in St. Moritz over 150 years ago. Today, the town is one of the largest and most varied snow sports resorts in the Alpine region, with 87 World Cup-standard pistes and downhill runs. St. Moritz offers endless skiing fun for all ages and stages across the four ski areas of Corviglia/Piz Nair, Corvatsch/Furtschellas, Diavolezza and Lagalb.

Art and culture

St. Moritz is home to the largest art gallery in the Alps as well as to the Segantini Museum, Green Art, the Mili Weber Haus and numerous other private art collections and galleries. In addition, it hosts a prestigious calendar of annul events including the St. Moritz Gourmet Festival (with guest chefs from all over the world), the Snow Polo World Cup, the Cresta Run and, of course, White Turf, the famous horse race on the frozen Lake St. Moritz.
