From 27 January to 1 February 2025, renowned international master chefs will once again showcase their talents in St. Moritz, transforming the Engadin into a hotspot for gourmet enthusiasts. This is what makes the St. Moritz Gourmet Festival so special: it’s not only a place for exceptional culinary experiences but also an exclusive and engaging gathering for over 2,000 guests.
With more than 230 star chefs from 30 countries, the St. Moritz Gourmet Festival has been setting standards for gourmet excellence, hospitality, and cultural diversity for 30 years.
Kristian Baumann: Korean-Danish Master Chef from Copenhagen at the Carlton
The Carlton Hotel proudly celebrates this diversity as a participant in this year's St. Moritz Gourmet Festival with an extraordinary guest: Kristian Baumann from KOAN restaurant in Copenhagen. Born in Korea and raised by Danish parents, Baumann began his career in a traditional Danish restaurant and went on to develop his unique style through roles in various French and Danish establishments. He blends Korean flavours and techniques with the minimalist aesthetic of New Nordic Cuisine.
Prepare for a sensational culinary experience and unforgettable flavours. Copenhagen’s KOAN, which opened in April 2023, has already earned two Michelin stars for its innovation and excellence.
