Is access to the Eden Roc Spa included for hotel guests, and is the spa also open to external guests?
Hotel guests enjoy complimentary access to the Eden Roc Spa throughout their stay, including the water world, sauna area and fitness centre.
By prior arrangement and subject to availability, the Eden Roc Spa is also open daily to non-resident guests. The following Spa Arrangements are available:
- Evening Spa: CHF 65 per person, daily from 17.00 h to 20.00 h
- 10-visit pass: CHF 650, valid for four hours per visit and non-transferable
- Day Spa Light: CHF 85 per person, valid for four hours during the day
- Day Spa Deluxe: CHF 250 per person, including spa access and a 50-minute Fully Individual Massage
All arrangements require advance booking and are subject to availability. They are not available during July and August. Day Spa access is available to guests aged 16 and over. All prices are stated in Swiss francs and include statutory VAT. Prices and opening hours are subject to change.
What spa memberships are available, and what terms and conditions apply?
An Eden Roc Spa membership offers regular access to the amenities of the five-star spa. The following memberships are available:
- Monthly Membership: CHF 440
- Four-Month Membership: CHF 1,200
Membership cards are personalised and non-transferable. The number of memberships is limited and they are offered subject to availability. The listed memberships are not available during July and August.
All prices are stated in Swiss francs and include statutory VAT. Prices and opening hours are subject to change.
What are the opening hours for the spa reception, treatments, hair salon, pools, fitness area, saunas and steam rooms?
During the summer season, the following opening hours apply:
- Spa reception: 09.00 – 20.00 h
- Treatments: 09.00 – 20.00 h
- Hair salon: Tuesday to Saturday, 09.00 – 20.00 h
- Water world & fitness centre: 07.00 – 20.00 h
- Saunas & steam rooms: 12.00 – 20.00 h

What is included with admission to the Eden Roc Spa?
Admission to the Eden Roc Spa includes access to the fitness centre, sauna and steam room areas, as well as the water world.
A bathrobe, towels and slippers are provided for your comfort, together with refreshments and fruit. Spacious changing rooms and lockers are also available.
Spa Arrangements for non-resident guests additionally include access to the outdoor pool, sunbathing lawn and relaxation areas.
How many indoor and outdoor pools does the Eden Roc Spa have, how large and warm are they, and is there a hydrotherapy pool or whirlpool?
The Eden Roc Spa features four distinct pool areas:
- Indoor and outdoor pool: 21 × 7 metres, heated to 32°C
- Marina Pool: 18 × 8 metres, approximately 24°C
- Outdoor pool by the main hotel building: 20 × 10 metres, heated to 28°C
- Hydrotherapy pool: heated to 34°C
The hydrotherapy pool also serves as a whirlpool, offering an additional setting for soothing relaxation.
Which saunas, sanariums, steam rooms, Kneipp pools, relaxation areas and separate ladies’ areas are available?
The mixed sauna area includes a Finnish sauna at 90°C, a sanarium at 65°C, a steam room at 45°C and a Kneipp pool.
A separate ladies’ area with a sanarium at 65°C and a steam room at 45°C offers additional privacy. Several relaxation areas are available for peaceful breaks between sauna sessions or treatments.
Is there direct access to Lake Maggiore, can guests swim in the lake, and what are the average water temperatures from April to October?
Direct access to Lake Maggiore leads from the hotel’s 10,000 sqm garden to the water. From April to October, weather permitting, the lake is suitable for swimming.
Average water temperatures are:
- April: 11–12°C
- May: 15–16°C
- June: 19–21°C
- July: approximately 23°C
- August: 24–25°C
- September: approximately 20°C
- October: 13–16°C
These figures are intended as a guide and may vary depending on weather conditions.
What fitness equipment and training facilities are available in the fitness centre?
The fitness centre is equipped with high-quality Technogym equipment for cardio, strength and functional training.
Facilities include a cross trainer, two treadmills, an exercise bike, a spinning bike, chest press, overhead press, low and high pull machines, core station, leg curl, leg extension, free weights, TRX and wall bars.
What massages, beauty and body treatments, hairdressing and manicure services are available, and should appointments be booked in advance?
The spa menu includes classic massages, relaxing wellness massages and a selection of beauty and body treatments. Hairdressing and manicure services complement the offering.

What should be considered when booking, arriving late or cancelling a spa treatment?
Advance booking is recommended to secure your preferred treatment time, either before arrival or early during your stay.
We look forward to welcoming you to the spa approximately 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This allows time to inform our team of any health concerns or individual requirements. Disposable underwear is available for your comfort during treatments.
Should you arrive late, the treatment may need to be shortened if the treatment room or therapist is booked immediately afterwards.
Any changes or cancellations should be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Cancellations made after this time, as well as no-shows, will be charged at the full treatment price.
What age restrictions apply at the Eden Roc Spa?
Children aged 12 and over are welcome in the pool area when accompanied by an adult. The sauna area is available to guests aged 16 and over.
Non-resident Day Spa guests may access the Eden Roc Spa from the age of 16. For information regarding access to other facilities, including the fitness centre, the spa reception will be pleased to assist.
What health considerations apply when using the Eden Roc Spa?
Guests with heart or circulatory conditions, as well as pregnant guests, are advised to consult a doctor before using the spa facilities.
Due to potential health risks, massages are not offered during pregnancy. For individual questions or health-related concerns, the Eden Roc Spa team will be pleased to assist.
What spa etiquette applies regarding swimwear, mobile phones, smoking and valuables?
A calm and relaxing atmosphere is at the heart of the Eden Roc Spa experience. The entire spa is non-smoking and, out of consideration for fellow guests, we kindly ask that mobile phones are not used within the spa. Noise should also be kept to a minimum in relaxation areas.
In the pool area, swimming trunks, swim shorts, bikinis, swimsuits and swimwear such as burkinis made from synthetic materials are welcome. For hygiene reasons, other clothing should not be worn for swimming.
We recommend storing valuables in your room safe. The hotel cannot accept liability for personal belongings left in the spa area.
