Hiking in Arosa: Goodbye Deadlines. Hello Nature.
With more than 200 kilometres of trails and themed walking routes, Arosa offers one thing above all: choice. And choice takes the pressure off. A short walk in the morning, panoramic views in the afternoon, or a family-friendly themed trail? It’s all possible – even on a whim, without a fixed schedule.
Those who enjoy planning can find routes at the click of a button. Those who prefer to go with the flow can simply set off and see where the day leads.
And when the views open up? Even better. Scenic viewpoints and barbecue spots invite you to slow down and stay a little longer, while more than 400 benches throughout the region make it easy to pause whenever the moment feels right.
Here, taking a break isn’t an interruption – it’s part of the experience. Slow miles. Big impact.
Bike Tours in Arosa: Flow Outside. Reset Inside.
Arosa is a down-to-earth biking destination. No name-dropping, just trails that make you want to go round one more time. For a summer with the perfect mix of nature, bends and views – and routes for every riding style and every mood: from relaxed to sporty, from easy to challenging.
At Valsana, the bike setup is just as uncomplicated. Mountain bikes are available free of charge from reception during the summer. For your own bike, there is a bike room by the tennis hall, accessible with your room key. And if the day ends dusty, the bike washing station next to the tennis hall is also available to use free of charge.
Questions? Our team will be happy to advise you on individually tailored trails and tours.

Moving Mountains at Valsana: PLAY Included. Every Week, Something New.
PLAY is at the heart of our Moving Mountains programme. It is not a fixed schedule, but rather a simple philosophy: get outside, try something new, learn, laugh and explore.
That spirit comes to life through experiences such as Empowering Expeditions – designed to help you develop new skills, push your boundaries and connect with nature – and Curated Adventures, which offer a deeper introduction to the region, its local producers and inspiring personalities.
The best part? Many activities are included as part of the weekly programme, while others can be booked individually if you prefer to set your own pace.
A look at the current PLAY programme says it all: the Valsana Team Run (complimentary on Thursdays), Cheese & Cheers (complimentary on Saturdays) and Nutty by Nature (complimentary on Tuesdays), to name just a few.
In short: less planning, more “let’s give that a try”.
Simply PLAY.
