Eden Roc Once Again Among Switzerland’s Top Hotels

Earlier this year, in late March, the hotel had already been awarded 2nd place in the “Luxury Lakeside Resorts” category of the “101 Best Hotels in Switzerland”, published by Zurich’s Tages-Anzeiger.

For Markus Tauss, who took over as General Manager of Hotel Eden Roc in June, this latest recognition confirms the hotel’s vision: “Eden Roc is more than a hotel – it's a lifestyle by the water,” says Tauss. At Hotel Eden Roc, Swiss hospitality, Mediterranean spirit, and timeless design come together to create an unforgettable holiday experience on the shores of Lake Maggiore. “Our goal is to offer every guest a piece of paradise – whether through our award-winning cuisine, the vibrant interiors designed by Carlo Rampazzi, the soothing atmosphere of the Eden Roc Spa, or direct lake access with our exceptional watersports offerings.” This recognition further encourages the team to stay true to its path.

The hotel ranking “Switzerland’s 150 Best Hotels 2025/26” is being published this year for the 29th time, and for the 13th time as a printed book. According to the publisher, it is the most established hotel guide of its kind in Switzerland. The jury is chaired by Andrin Willi, one of the country’s most respected culinary journalists.
