Valsana Hotel in Arosa joins Small Luxury Hotels of the World

Arosa, (13 December 2024). The Valsana Hotel Arosa has entered into a strategic partnership with the Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) association. The four-star superior hotel, which is part of the Swiss Tschuggen Collection, is now listed in the Considerate Collection of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and can be booked by travellers from all over the world on their platform.

Small Luxury Hotels of the World is a global association of independent hotels for independent travellers. Each of the 600 hotels in over 90 countries has been hand-picked to offer the highest standards of luxury and well-being, with an average size of only around 50 rooms. The exclusive Considerate Collection, made up exclusively of the association's sustainability pioneers, was launched in 2021 to help travellers find world-class and sustainable hotel experiences.

The Valsana Hotel Arosa, with its 40 rooms and junior suites as well as nine apartments, is located at the entrance to Arosa, surrounded by forest and lake. The architecture and interior design of the hotel interpret the forest and nature. As the gateway between the village and the Arosa forest, the Valsana Hotel is a modern base for mountain sports, year-round adventure and soothing relaxation. From ice bathing and trail biking to skiing, hiking and a visit to the Arosa Bear Sanctuary, the focus is on the diversity of nature. The four-star superior hotel combines stylish elegance with sustainable design and modern comfort, offering a place for relaxation, enjoyment and culinary experiences. Thanks to the latest technological innovations, the environmental footprint is as small as possible - the energy highlight is an ice battery that provides energy throughout the building. As a member of the Tschuggen Collection, the Valsana Hotel Arosa is also completely carbon neutral since 2019. With its holistic Moving Mountains programme, the hotel also meets the requirements of the Considerate Collection of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, which focuses on the three main themes of "Community Minded", "Cultural Custodians" and "Environmentally Conscious".

"With its friendly, intimate atmosphere in an internationally undiscovered region such as Arosa, our Valsana Hotel is a perfect addition to the existing Small Luxury Hotels of the World portfolio. Through this partnership, we can offer the highest level of service to a cosmopolitan, discerning target group of modern travellers and thus attract even more (international) guests to Arosa," comments Philipp Estermann, Hotel Director of the Valsana Hotel, pleased to be joining the international association.

The 2024/2025 winter season at the Valsana Hotel in Arosa has already started and runs until 6 April 2025. The Valsana Hotel is now bookable with SLH at www.slh.com/hotels/valsana-hotel-arosa.
