Jubilee - e-pedalo and beach buggy
In the middle of the Garden of Eden and with a breathtaking view over the glittering blue of Lake Maggiore stands the La Casetta boathouse. On 19 March 1945 - exactly 80 years ago - this boathouse became a central scene of history when Allied generals met here under the cover name Operation Sunrise with the German Wehrmacht for peace negotiations regarding the withdrawal from Italy. The far-reaching changes to our Garden of Eden are much more recent. The 10,000 m2 park with its seasonal floral splendor, secluded seating areas and direct lake access with a private harbour has been completely replanted in the last few months and provided with new furniture that visually integrates itself into the garden and invites you to linger. A new lighting concept by Kardorff Ingenieure from Berlin also provides the perfect ambience in the evening and illuminates the various corners of the garden in a mysterious way.
From this summer, you can embark on an extremely sustainable journey - with the new OTTER. With the first Swiss e-pedalo, you literally seem to be flying over the water. Powered by your own muscle power and supported by two electric motors, the vehicle reaches a maximum range of an incredible 20 kilometers at a speed of up to 10 kph. And best of all - your own sun deck and a cool drink go with you wherever you go.
The new Eden Roc Beach Buggy is right outside the house for all those whose thirst for discovery craves even more. Whether it's a ride along the shores of Lake Maggiore or an exploratory tour through the streets of Ascona and up towards Monte Verita. With a gentle breeze in your hair and accompanied by your loved ones, these excursions become a real vacation highlight.
