Marco Campanella named "Up and coming chef of the year" in Ticino and the restaurant La Brezza at the Hotel Eden Roc awarded 18 GaultMillau points
The young chef at La Brezza in the Hotel Eden Roc is floating on a wave of success. After recently being awarded two Michelin stars for his two La Brezza restaurants, GaultMillau has now also repeatedly approved of his skills. Marco Campanella is the "Up and coming chef of the year" in Ticino and La Brezza at the Hotel Eden Roc receives its 18th GaultMillau point.
Since summer 2018, La Brezza has been serving the creations of Marco Campanella. Especially with regional, seasonal and plant-based ingredients, he surprises the guests again and again. In line with the Moving Mountains philosophy, which has been in place at all Tschuggen Collection hotels since 2020.
For the first time in 2019, the gastronomic guide GaultMillau named the up-and-coming talent "Discovery of the Year in Ticino". Shortly thereafter, further awards followed, such as the first Michelin star, the nomination as Hotel Chef of the Year 2020 by the Bilanz Hotelranking as well as the receipt of 17 GaultMillau points at La Brezza in the Hotel Eden Roc in March 2021 and the second Michelin star in October 2022. Now the German-Italian's successful concept will be raised to the next level with a total of 18 GaultMillau points.
This summer, the La Brezza team has more than successfully completed its stay on Lake Maggiore. Now the team around Marco Campanella is on its way to the Grisons mountains to enchant guests in the La Brezza Restaurant (2 Michelin stars and 17 GaultMillau points) of the Tschuggen Grand Hotel from 9 December 2022.
