As of 01 September 2023, Peter Angst will strengthen the F&B team of Switzerland's best holiday hotel, located directly on the shores of Lake Maggiore.
Ascona, (17 July 2023). The number one Swiss hotel is getting a new addition to its F&B team. From 1 September 2023, Peter Angst will take over as the new Director of F&B for the culinary offer at the Hotel Eden Roc. He will take over the management of the entire F&B team as well as procurement and quality management. He is also responsible for ensuring the service performance towards the guests.
Peter Angst was most recently Director of F&B at the Mandarin Oriental in Munich. He has held this position since November 2021 and has been a member of the Mandarin Oriental Group since summer 2015. After graduating from the EHL Hospitality Management School in Lausanne Peter Angst's professional career took him all over the world and to well-known luxury hotel groups such as The Peninsula, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and ITC Hotels as well as the Mandarin Oriental Group.
As of September, the Basel-born manager will now call Ticino his new home. Peter Angst is looking forward to returning to Switzerland after many years abroad. "I am excited about the new challenge and look forward to working with a great team! I am also proud and at the same time grateful to have been given the opportunity to work in the "Best Holiday Hotel in Switzerland", Peter Angst comments on his new position as Director of F&B from September at the Hotel Eden Roc.
