Again two Michelin Keys for Tschuggen Grand Hotel

The Tschuggen Grand Hotel has always offered its guests an elegant mix of spectacular nature and its unique architectural design at 1,800 meters above sea level. In the Michelin Guide, the Tschuggen Grand Hotel has again been awarded two Michelin-Keys, placing it among the best hotels in Switzerland.

Tschuggen Grand Hotel in Arosa has once again been awarded two MICHELIN Keys, confirming its place among Switzerland’s exceptional hotels.

Two MICHELIN Keys signify an “exceptional stay”. In its current selection of Key hotels in Switzerland, the MICHELIN Guide once again lists Tschuggen Grand Hotel among the properties recognised with two Keys.

The MICHELIN Guide places particular emphasis on the hotel’s distinctive architecture. Tschuggen Grand Hotel deliberately stands apart from the traditional image of a Swiss mountain retreat. Instead, the modernist silhouette of the main building and the striking Tschuggen Bergoase define its unmistakable character.

Special attention is given to the Bergoase, designed by renowned architect Mario Botta. Its distinctive light sails are evocatively compared to sailing boats on an alpine lake. It is precisely this meeting of dramatic mountain scenery and contemporary architecture that makes Tschuggen Grand Hotel such a distinctive destination.

A stay at Tschuggen is also shaped by a series of exceptional experiences. The hotel’s private Tschuggen Express mountain railway takes guests directly into the Arosa Lenzerheide ski and hiking area, while the Tschuggen Bergoase offers a remarkable setting for relaxation and regeneration. A diverse culinary offering further complements the alpine experience.

In this way, the MICHELIN Guide captures the very combination that defines our hotel: alpine nature, exceptional architecture, personal hospitality and experiences that go far beyond a traditional hotel stay.

We are delighted to have once again received two MICHELIN Keys. For us, the distinction is both an affirmation and an incentive to continue creating memorable moments high above the everyday.
