The Hotel Kurhaus Valsana convalescent hotel opens. The building was later renamed Hotel & Pension Valsana.
1982
The Kipp-Bechtolsheimer family took over the building and integrated the hotel, as the Sporthotel Valsana, into the Tschuggen Hotel Group. which was established at the same time. At this time, the hotel had 45 rooms.
2015
The demolition and reconstruction of the Sporthotel Valsana started and went on until winter 2017, when the hotel reopened in fresh splendour and with a new concept.
2017
Opening of the new Valsana Hotel Arosa. The hotel has 40 rooms and suites and nine family apartments. While the enormous sun terrace in front of the restaurant provides an unobstructed view of the mountain peaks opposite, the spa facilities, on 800 square metres and with their position and oversized panoramic windows, are a direct transition to the neighbouring forest.
